DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON TONGAAT HULETT LIMITED ("TONGAAT")
ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("TONIDH")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Tongaat have
declared an interim dividend of 120 cents per ordinary share expected payment on
Thursday, 26 January 2012 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 20 January 2012.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, TONIDH,
will receive a Tongaat cash dividend of 120 cents per security on the expected
payment date of Thursday, 26 January 2012, in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday, 13 January 2012.
TONIDH Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 16 January 2012, and the record date
will be Friday, 20 January 2012.
