APPOINTMENT OF ALTERNATE DIRECTOR
The Massmart Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David
Cheesewright to the board of directors of Massmart as an alternate director
to any of the three Wal-Mart-appointees to the Board, being Messrs Doug
McMillon, JP Suarez and Jeffrey Davis, with effect from 23 November 2011.
David is Executive Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer of Wal-Mart`s
Europe, Middle East, Africa and Canada regional operations.
