STATEMENT RE SHARE PRICE MOVEMENT
The board of Lonrho has noted the movement in the Company`s share price
towards the close of business yesterday and confirms that there has
been no material change in the company`s prospects.
Lonrho is currently in the process of meeting with its major
shareholders and other current and new institutional investors to
explore ways to fund exciting new growth opportunities that are
available for the company and will only proceed with a funding
providing such terms are acceptable to the Board.
