UPDATE ON EUROLUX ACQUISITION
Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 25 October 2011 wherein
it was announced that ARB had acquired a 60% interest in Eurolux (Pty)
Limited and any claims on shareholders` loan accounts subject to the
fulfillment of certain conditions precedent ("the Acquisition").
The board is pleased to advise shareholders that the Competition Commission
has unconditionally approved the Acquisition. The Acquisition remains
subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent however these
are largely administrative in nature and are expected to be fulfilled
during the month of December 2011. As such, the effective date of the
Acquisition is expected to be 3 January 2012. Shareholders will be informed
of any developments in this regard or once the Acquisition has become
unconditional.
