Withdrawal of Cautionary Announcement Relating to Trustco Mobile (Pty) Ltd
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated 3 February 2011,
14 March 2011, 15 April 2011, 26 May 2011, 6 July 2011, 18 August 2011, 29
September 2011 and 10 November 2011 and are advised that a tripartite agreement
between Trustco Mobile (Pty) Limited, Shoprite Namibia (Pty) Limited and Trustco
Life Limited, has successfully been concluded.
The salient features of the agreement are as follows;
1 The agreement between the parties will give rise to the provision of free
life cover to Shoprite customers based on their basket spend in Shoprite
stores across Namibia.
2 The initial term of the agreement will be for a trial period of 6 months.
3 If the pilot project is deemed a success by the parties, it is envisaged
that the model will be deployed in further markets where the parties
operate.
As negotiations with Shoprite have now successfully been concluded, caution is
no longer required to by shareholders when dealing in their securities.
