CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the following
information is disclosed:
Mr Paul Marius Saaiman, the Company`s Interim Chief Executive Officer, and
financial director has resigned with effect from 14 December 2011, in order to
devote all his time and attention to the business of Village Main Reef Limited
("Village"). The Board of Directors of Simmers ("the Board") has thanked Mr
Saaiman for his significant contribution since taking on this role, and wish
him well in his role at Village.
The Board is in the process of appointing new executive directors to the Board
and should make a further announcement in this regard by 14 December 2011.
