DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
Following the previous announcement detailing a possible quarterly distribution
by Bips Inflation-X to holders of Bips Inflation-X Securities, the manager and
trustees (namely Bips Investment Managers (Pty) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited)
have resolved to make a quarterly distribution to holders of Bips Inflation-X
securities for the quarter ended 31 December 2011. The distribution will:
* amount to 11.02 cents (R0.1102) per Bips Inflation-X security;
* be constituted 11.02 cents (R0.1102) in respect of interest;
* be made to all holders of Bips Inflation-X securities recorded in the
register on 23 December 2011; and
* be effected on 29 December 2011
The distribution is calculated after taking into account accrued expenses
incurred by the fund for the previous quarter and thus represents a distribution
net of fund expenses. The distribution is interest in nature.
* a Special Distribution, as an interest payment, amounting to 3.38 cents
(R0.0338) per Bips Inflation-X security;
* The Special Distribution will be made to holders of Bips Inflation-X
securities added to the register between 22 September 2011 and 04 November
2011 (Both dates inclusive) with respective trade dates being 15 September
and 28 October; and
* be effected on 29 December 2011
This is done in order to correct a 3.38c overstatement in the calculated and
published NAV of the fund between these dates and to ensure that all Securities
holders are put in an equal position.
