Acquisition of the CAPESTORM brand
Shareholders are advised that Holdsport has entered into an agreement in terms
of which Holdsport will acquire the CAPESTORM Brand and related intellectual
property, including certain inventories, for an undisclosed value. Holdsport
will also acquire two retail outlets in Bryanston and Wynberg as part of the
transaction.
CAPESTORM is a technical outdoor adventure apparel brand, which was established
in 1996 and the product range caters to the active sports and outdoor
enthusiast.
Holdsport intends to grow and develop the CAPESTORM Brand and will leverage the
First Ascent infrastructure to facilitate this process.
The transaction falls below the JSE disclosure thresholds. The acquisition will
not have any significant impact on the financial results of Holdsport in the
short term.
