NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the 95th annual general meeting ("AGM") of York
shareholders ("Shareholders") will be held at Metier Investment & Advisory
Services, 2nd Floor, 5 Commerce Square, 39 Rivonia Road, Sandhurst, Johannesburg
on Monday, 6 February 2012 at 10:00, to consider and, if deemed fit to pass,
with or without modification, the ordinary and special resolutions set out in
the Notice, posted to shareholders today, and to deal with such other business
as may lawfully be dealt with at the AGM. The record date on which Shareholders
must be recorded as such in the register maintained by the transfer secretaries
of the Company for the purpose of being entitled to attend and vote at the AGM
is Friday, 27 January 2012.
The Notice was posted to Shareholders today. A copy of the Notice is
electronically available on the Company`s website www.york.co.za and additional
physical copies thereof may be obtained from the Company`s registered office.
The annual report incorporating the consolidated audited annual financial
statements for the year ended 30 June 2011 ("Annual Report") was posted to
Shareholders and published on the Company`s website on 28 September 2011.
Additional physical copies of the Annual Report are also available at the
Company`s registered office.
