NOTIFICATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 122(3) OF THE COMPANIES ACT AND SECTION 3.83(b)
OF THE JSE LISTINGS REQUIREMENTS
In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 ("the
Act"), and section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, holders of ordinary
shares in South Ocean are advised that Investec Asset Management Holdings (Pty)
Limited, has increased its beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of South
Ocean from 9,9841% to 10,12681 % .
South Ocean hereby confirms that it has received the required notice from
Investec Asset Management Holdings (Pty) Limited, in terms of Section 122(1) of
the Act. As required in terms of section 122(3) (a) of the Act, South Ocean has
filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel.
