Arrangement

Subject to the completion of the scheme of arrangement between Jinchuan Group
(China, non-constituent) and Metorex Ltd (South Africa, constituent), and
following notification from the Stock Exchange, FTSE and the JSE announces the
following changes:

deleted from the index.
Trencor Ltd (South Africa,

added to the index with a
shares in issue figure of
176,868,011 and an
investability weighting of 75%.
FTSE/JSE Africa Small Cap Trencor Ltd will be deleted 09 January 2012
(J202) from the index.
FTSE/JSE Africa All Share Metorex Ltd will be deleted 09 January 2012
(J203) from the index.
FTSE JSE RAFI All Share Metorex Ltd will be deleted 09 January 2012

Capped Index (J283) from the index.
FTSE/JSE Africa Capped All Metorex Ltd will be deleted 09 January 2012
