CHANGES TO THE BOARD
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the
Company wishes to advise shareholders that, with effect from 9 January
2012, Mr. Shaun Strydom has resigned from his role as group financial
director of Blue. Mr Strydom will however continue to serve on the board of
Blue as an executive director in a new role assisting Blue in the execution
of strategic initiatives.
The Company accordingly further advises of the appointment of Mr. Gordon
Whitcher as executive group financial director to the board with effect
from 9 January 2012.
Mr. Whitcher is a chartered accountant having served as group financial
director and interim chief executive officer of Glenrand MIB Limited prior
to its takeover by AON SA, wherein he assumed the position of chief
operating officer of AON Risk Services SA until 31 October 2011.
