("Miranda" or "the Company")-
MIRANDA REQUESTS SUSPENSION OF ITS SECURITIES
Further to the announcement by the Company on 10 January 2012, advising
shareholders that the High Court (North Gauteng) has interdicted and
restrained Miranda from proceeding with a proposed increase of its
authorised share capital and a proposed rights issue, the Company`s
material shareholders namely, Global PS Mining Investments Company Limited
and Yakani Resources (Proprietary) Limited, have demanded the repayment of
loans made by them to Miranda. This event has further resulted in the
jeopardizing of the financing prospects of the Company.
In light of these events, the Board of directors deems it prudent and has
accordingly requested that the Company`s securities be suspended on the JSE
Limited with immediate effect, whilst the board considers the options
available to the Company.
