("Colfax")
HAHL shareholders are advised that Charter, which is listed on the London Stock
Exchange and which indirectly owns (through Howden Group South Africa Limited
and James Howden & Godfrey Overseas Limited) approximately 55.36% of HAHL, has
been acquired by an indirect subsidiary of Colfax.
Colfax is a global supplier of a broad range of fluid handling products and
based in the US. It considers Charter to be a leading player in key markets with
an attractive business mix and strong technological capabilities that will fit
well with Colfax`s acquisition criteria.
Colfax believes that Howden will extend Colfax`s existing fluid handling
business, as both organisations focus on supplying a range of market leading
products to applications where performance and reliability are paramount.
