Director Resignation
Firestone Energy Limited (ASX/JSE: FSE) ("Firestone" or the "Company")
wishes to announce that Mr Colin McIntyre, an Independent Non Executive
Director of Firestone has resigned from the Company, effective immediately.
Mr McIntyre joined the board in 2009 to provide an independent technical
and commercial perspective at the early development stages of the project.
Since then, Mr McIntyre has been instrumental in helping the Company
formulate strategy, develop key milestones and has always availed himself
in providing support and assistance to the Company and investors.
With the help of Mr McIntyre`s extensive technical and commercial
experience, the Company is now significantly better positioned to move into
a new phase of development.
The board will consider a suitable replacement for Mr McIntyre when it next
meets.
On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Mr McIntyre for his
dedication and service to the Company and wish him well in his future
endeavours.
