Requirements, Alert Steel shareholders are advised that Mr Edwin Hewitt has
been appointed to the Company`s board of directors with effect from 25 January
2012. Mr Hewitt is currently the CEO of Capital Africa Steel (Pty) Limited and
was previously the CEO of Petzetakis Africa, the Group Deputy CEO of the
Reclamation Group of Companies and Group Executive Director and CEO of Murray &
Roberts` Fabrication and Manufacturing Division.
