FALL OF GROUND ACCIDENT AT MODIKWA PLATINUM MINE
African Rainbow Minerals Limited (ARM) and Anglo American Platinum Limited,
joint venture partners of the Modikwa Platinum Mine ("Modikwa" or "the Mine")
regret to announce the fatal injury of two employees at Modikwa. On Friday,
27 January 2012, two employees were fatally injured in an unfortunate fall of
ground accident. Operations at the Mine have since been halted to allow for a
re-evaluation of safety procedures.
The Company would like to express its sincerest condolences to the family,
colleagues and friends of the deceased.
