TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware that the
financial results for the financial period to be reported on next will vary by
20% or more from those of the previous comparable period.
Capitec hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that
earnings and headline earnings per share for the year ending on 29 February 2012
will exceed the comparable earnings and headline earnings per share for the
previous corresponding period being 28 February 2011 by between 40% and 50%.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed and reported on by Capitec`s auditors. The financial results for the
year ending on 29 February 2012 are expected to be published on or about 28
March 2012.
