Resignation of non-executive director
In compliance with section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listing Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Mr D M Polak has resigned as a non-executive
director of The Foschini Group Limited, with immediate effect.
Mr D M Polak has advised that his personal travel plans are such that he will
not be in a position to attend most board meetings in future and he has
therefore decided to tender his resignation.
The board thanks Mr Polak for his significant contribution to the company over
many years.
