CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Nicolaas (Nick) Wentzel
as an independent non-executive director.
Mr Wentzel holds a B Com degree from University of Johannesburg and qualified as
a Chartered Accountant in 1977. He has served as Divisional Chairman of Tiger
Foods and became the CEO of Genfoods in 1998, which later acquired Premier
Foods. He was appointed the first CEO at Astral, and has held appointments as
CEO of Parmalat South Africa and the Reunert Group.
The Board wishes to congratulate Mr Wentzel on his appointment, which is
effective from 9 February 2012. The Board believes that Mr Wentzel`s extensive
experience in the Poultry and Food related business as well as in the FMCG
sector should be beneficial to AFGRI.
