APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, notification is hereby given that Mr. Alan Keet ("Mr. Keet") has been
appointed as an executive director on the board of GPI pursuant to his
appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the GPI Group. Both appointments are
with effect from 10 April 2012.
Mr. Keet, a qualified Chartered Accountant, will join GPI after 23 years at
Nolands Incorporated where he currently holds the position of Chief Executive
Officer, Western Cape. Reporting directly to GPI`s Executive Chairman, Hassen
Adams, Mr. Keet will bring extensive management and multi-faceted business
experience to his new role.
The Board of directors wishes to congratulate Mr. Keet on his appointment and
looks forward to his invaluable contribution to the company and Group.
