Aveng has received Notice on Wednesday, 15 February 2012, from Allan Gray
Proprietary Limited ("Allan Gray") pursuant to Section 122 (3) (b) of the
Companies Act 71 of 2008 ("the Act").
Pursuant to the Act and Para 3.83 (b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
Aveng wishes to advise that Allan Gray`s clients have, collectively, acquired
an interest in the securities of Aveng, such that the aggregate interest has
increased to 5.0006% of the present issued share capital of Aveng.
