RESULTS OF MEETINGS HELD
Shareholders are hereby advised that, at the annual general meeting and the
general meeting of shareholders of Pioneer Foods to approve the Pioneer Foods
phase II broad-based black empowerment transaction ("the Transaction") held
today at Lemoenkloof Guest House, 369a Main Street, Paarl, all the proposed
ordinary and special resolutions, as contained in the respective notices to
shareholders, were passed by the requisite majorities of shareholders present
and voting, in person or by proxy.
Shareholders are advised that certain conditions precedent to the Transaction
have not yet been fulfilled. An announcement will be made by the Company once
the Transaction becomes unconditional.
