TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
financial results for the current reporting period will be more than 20%
different from those of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders were advised on 16 November 2011 regarding the prospects of the
group for the first half of the 2012 financial year and particularly the
expected negative impact of the withdrawal of the Duty Credit Certificate
benefit on operating profit.
Accordingly shareholders are advised that Rex Trueform expects headline earnings
per share and earnings per share to be between 22% and 26% lower for the six
months ended 31 December 2011 as compared to the previous corresponding period.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by Rex Trueform`s
external auditors. The Company`s results for the half year ended 31 December
2011 are expected to be published on or about 9 March 2012.
