RESIGNATION OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Alan Knott-Craig has resigned as an independent non-executive director of
Nedbank Group and Nedbank Limited with effect from 24 February 2012.
Nedbank Group Chairman, Dr Reuel Khoza, thanked Alan for the significant
contribution he has made to the board since his appointment in 2009.
"During this time with the group, Alan played a valuable role on board
committees, in particular as Chairman of the Group Information Technology
Committee. Alan`s in-depth knowledge of the information technology and
telecommunications industry has been invaluable to the group. Owing to his
recent appointment as Chief Executive of Cell C with effect from 1 April 2012,
Alan is stepping down as a director. We thank him and wish him well for the
future".
