DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON FIRSTRAND LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("FSRIHH")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of FirstRand Limited
have declared an interim cash dividend of 44.00 cents per ordinary share payable
on Monday, 26 March 2012 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 23 March 2012.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of FSRIHH, will receive a FirstRand Limited
interim cash dividend of 44.00 cents per security on Monday, 26 March 2012, in
terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement between the holders
and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order
to participate in the dividends will be Thursday, 15 March 2012.
FSRIHH will commence trading "ex" the dividends from the commencement of
business on Friday, 16 March 2012, and the record date will be Friday, 23 March
2012.
