APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the Listing Requirements, Astral Foods is
pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Arnold as executive director
responsible for business development of Astral Foods with effect from 1 March
2012.
Gary Arnold started his career with the group some 15 years ago when he was
appointed as nutritionist in the Feed division. He was appointed as the
managing director of Nutec in 2004 and later appointed as chief operating
officer of Meadow Feeds` Western Cape operations. On 1 November 2010 he was
appointed as business development director for Astral Operations. He holds a
Master`s degree in animal science and a Master`s degree in business
administration.
