CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the following
information is disclosed:
Edwyn O`Neill has, subject to regulatory approval, been appointed to the
position of Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") of Zurich. He joins the Company as
CEO Designate on 1 May 2012 and will assume the CEO role on 21 May 2012.
Mr O`Neill succeeds Guy Munnoch who, after nearly 15 years of dedicated service
to Zurich Financial Services, retires at the end of May 2012.
