CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The board of directors of Alert Steel ("the Board") hereby informs shareholders
of Alert Steel that deputy chairman Wynand Schalekamp has relinquished his role
as an executive director and employee of Alert Steel in terms of an arrangement
to restructure the operations of the Company. He will, however, remain on the
Board as a non-executive director.
The Chief Executive Officer, Johan du Toit, commended Mr Schalekamp`s expertise
and guidance during the restructuring and restrategising of Alert Steel and
thanked him for his invaluable contribution to the Company.
