CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Following a meeting of the Board of Directors of Wearne ("the board") on 29
February 2012, the board hereby announces the following changes to its
composition as required in terms of section 3.59 of the JSE Listings
Requirements:
Mr John Wearne (currently the executive chairman) will assume the role of Chief
Executive Officer.
Mr Mitesh Patel, the lead independent non-executive director and currently the
Chairman of the Audit Committee, will assume the role of Chairman of the Board
and Mr Mfanyana Salanje, currently a non-executive director, is appointed as
Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Mr Wessel van der Merwe is appointed to the Remuneration Committee and to the
Social and Ethics Committee. Other members appointed to the Social and Ethics
Committee is Mr John Wearne (CEO) and Mr Marius Bierman (CFO).
