SABMILLER AND ANADOLU EFES ANNOUNCE CLOSING STEPS OF STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
SABMiller plc., Anadolu Group (Anadolu Endustri Holding A._., Yazycylar Holding
A._. and Ozilhan Synai Yatyrym A._.), and Anadolu Efes (Anadolu Efes Biracylyk
ve Malt Sanayii A._.) today announce completion of the transfer of SABMiller`s
Russian and Ukrainian beer businesses in the context of their strategic alliance
for Turkey, Russia, the CIS, Central Asia and the Middle East, which was
originally announced on 19 October 2011. SABMiller`s newly issued 24%
shareholding in Anadolu Efes will be listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange
("ISE") after completion of certain administrative requirements of the Turkish
Capital Markets Board and the ISE. The management teams for the combined Russia
and Ukraine businesses have been appointed and these businesses will commence
operations on an integrated basis with immediate effect.
