NEW BOARD APPOINTMENT
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised of the following appointment to the Chemspec
Board of Directors ("the Board") with effect from 12 March 2012:
Mr. Sipho Eric Sono (CA(SA)), as independent non-executive director and Chairman
of the Audit and Risk Committee.
With more than 20 years` experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Sono
was the financial director of Sizwe Ntsaluba VSP where he was a key contributor
in developing a medium-sized audit firm. He is presently chief executive officer
of OPIS Advisory which he founded in 2009.
The Board believes that Mr. Sono`s expertise will bring additional technical
input to the board and round off the composition of the directorate.
