DIVIDEND DECLARATION
The board is pleased to announce that a final dividend of 13 cents per share
(dividend no. 10) resulting in a total dividend of 19 cents per share (2011:
17 cents per share)for the 12 months ended 29 February 2012, has been
declared.

The dividend has been declared after exercising careful consideration and
assessment of all factors that the board considers relevant to the
declaration of this dividend, including the current macro-economic and
business outlook. Afrimat adopts a dividend policy of three times cover, and
based on estimates utilising unaudited management accounts for the 12 months
ended 29 February 2012, with a current estimated profit before tax between
R115 million and R120 million (2011: R108 million), the board considered the
dividend to be appropriate.
The financial information on which this dividend declaration has been based
has not been reviewed or reported on by Afrimat`s auditors. Afrimat`s results
for the year ended 29 February 2012 are expected to be published on or about
10 May 2012.
