APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS OF SUBSIDIARY OF LISTED COMPANY
In terms of section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the
Company has pleasure in announcing the appointment of
Glen Gerber as director and Chairman of Impson Logistics (Pty) Ltd ("Impson"), a
major subsidiary of Santova Limited, effective 17 February 2012 and Muhammed
Desai as Financial Director of Impson effective 1 April 2012.
Brief CVs of the newly appointed directors follow:
* GLEN HENRY GERBER
Glen Gerber has been CEO and a director of Santova Limited since 2003 and
takes up Chairmanship of the Impson Board following the retirement of
Malcolm Impson last year.
* MUHAMMAD DESAI
Muhammad completed his articles at Deloitte & Touche, Durban in 2008 and
qualified as a chartered accountant, CA(SA). He joined the Santova Group in
January 2009 as a Financial Accountant in the Head Office Finance
Department where among other duties, he was tasked with handling the income
taxes of Santova and Impson and preparation of subsidiary financial
statements. Shortly thereafter he was transferred to Impson Logistics (Pty)
Ltd as Financial Manager where he has been responsible for the full finance
function of that company. He has regularly assisted the holding company
with accounting and tax issues as well as with the preparation of the
Annual Integrated Report.
