DIRECTOR`S DEALINGS IN SECURITIES
In November 2011 Mr Holland instructed his broker to liquidate a diversified
investment portfolio which unfortunately contained 2788 Gold Fields Limited
shares which were acquired in 2010. In the circumstances these Gold Fields
shares were sold inadvertently without the approval of the Gold Fields
Chair. Mr Holland and Gold Fields became aware of this fact on 19 March 2012
and immediately notified the JSE and the Gold Fields Chair. The Gold Fields
Chair ratified the disposal after confirming that at the time of the sale
the Company was not in a closed period and Mr Holland was not subject to any
trading restrictions.
