CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
1 Further to the announcement released on SENS on 1 February 2012 and in
compliance with paragraphs 3.59(a) and 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby informed of the appointment of
Mr. Desmond Morgan CA(SA) as Financial Director of the Company with effect
from 22 March 2012.
2 Desmond is a chartered accountant with an Honours Degree in Accounting
Sciences from the University of South Africa (UNISA). He served articles
with Price Waterhouse and has held senior financial positions in South
African and international listed companies. He has extensive high level and
operational financial management and accounting experience in mining,
manufacturing, communications, forensic investigations, finance, mergers
and acquisitions, and corporate environments.
3 Mr. Evan Badenhorst, the outgoing Financial Director, will provide the
necessary assistance to Desmond until 30 April 2012 to ensure an orderly
hand over of the duties associated with the position.
4 The Board of Directors would like to welcome Desmond and is looking forward
to his contribution.
