British American Tobacco p.l.c. (the "Company") made its Preliminary
Announcement of its audited results in respect of the year ended 31 December
2011 (the "Preliminary Announcement") on 23 February 2012. The Preliminary
Announcement included the information required by Disclosure and Transparency
Rule 6.3.5.
