Notice is hereby given that the following dates are of importance in regard
to the semi-annual interest payment to Rand Note Holders.
Last date to trade cum interest: Friday, 23 March 2012
Ex-interest Date: Monday, 26 March 2012
Record date Friday, 30 March 2012
Interest Payment Date: Monday 2 April 2012
The rate of interest stipulated in the Rand Notes Indenture, being R55,00
per Rand Note (ZAR1000), is calculated using the nominal rate method of
calculation and will not be calculated using the effective rate method of
calculation or any other basis that gives effect to the principle of deemed
re-investment of interest.
