TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of section 3.4 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably
certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will be more
than 20% different from that of the previous corresponding period.
The directors of Awethu anticipate that headline loss per share and loss per
share, for the six months ended 31 December 2011, will decrease by between 65% -
70% and 65% - 70%, respectively from those reported for the previous
corresponding period being the six months ended 31 December 2010.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company`s
auditors.
The Company`s interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2011 will be
published on SENS on or about 30 March 2012.
