TRADING STATEMENT
Simmer and Jack Mines is currently finalising its interim results for the six
months ended 31 December 2011.
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of
certainty exists that the financial results for the period will differ by at
least 20% from those for the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that the Group`s basic earnings per
share and headline earnings per share are expected to be between 95% and 105%
higher than the loss and headline loss per share of the six months ended 30
September 2010.
The information on which this announcement is based has not been reviewed and
reported on by Simmer and Jack Mines` auditors.
The Group`s results for the six months ended 31 December 2011 are expected to
be published on SENS on or about 29 March 2012.
