CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
1 In compliance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings Requirements of the
JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby informed of the following changes to
the Board of Directors of Rare ("the Board"):
1.1 The resignation of Mr. DE Scheepers ("Dave") as chief executive
officer and executive director of the Company with effect from 27
March 2012; and
1.2 The resignation of Mr. PJ Willemse ("Pierre") as executive Financial
Director of the Company with effect from 27 March 2012.
2 Dave and Pierre decided to pursue other career opportunities and the Board
would like to thank them for their contributions to the Company during
their tenure.
3 The Company has commenced with the recruitment process on finding suitable
replacements for the vacancies and shareholders will be advised in due
course as to the appointment of any new candidates.
