With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Anglo American
Limited have declared a dividend of 359.98 cents per ordinary share payable on
26-April-2012 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the company at
the close of business on 30-March-2012.
Accordingly holders of Anglos STUB certificates are advised that the
distribution payable on or about 26-April-2012 will be equal to 359.98 cents per
certificate.
The last date to trade in order to participate in the certificate was Friday, 23
March 2012. The certificate has started trading "ex" the dividend from the
commencement of business on Monday, 26 March 2012 and the record date will be
Friday, 30 March 2012.
