COUNTRY BIRD HOLDINGS APPOINTS NEW ACTING GROUP FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Agricultural group Country Bird Holdings Ltd (CBH) has announced the appointment
of Mario le Roux as acting group financial director effective from 01 April
2012. He will replace Robbie Taylor who leaves the group to pursue other
interests.
Mario le Roux is a CA (SA) and is currently managing director of CBH subsidiary
Nutri Feeds, a position he has held since April 2009.
Gert van Heerden, CBH group operations executive, will replace Mario le Roux at
Nutri Feeds.
Before joining CBH, Mario le Roux held various senior positions in the Afgri Ltd
group of companies. His responsibilities included overseeing the Group`s
interest in Clark Cotton, one of the largest cotton growing and ginning
operations in sub Saharan Africa.
Prior to that, he was employed by Tiger Brands in their Agri Business.
Mario le Roux has a wealth of experience managing businesses in sub Saharan
Africa and joins the board of CBH at a time when the Group is embarking on an
aggressive African roll-out programme.
