BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the listings requirements of the JSE
Limited, notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Board of Directors of
Gooderson on the 28 March 2012 the following was duly approved with effect from
2 April 2012.
1. Gavin Michael Castleman was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Gooderson.
He was previously the Operations Director. Gavin replaces Alan Gooderson as
Chief Executive Officer; Alan will remain the Executive Chairman of
Gooderson.
Gavin finished Hotel School in 1985, followed by in-house training in 1986
at Southern Sun and Gooderson, Tropicana Hotel. He stayed on with
Gooderson after in-house training until 1988 and then worked at Holiday
Inns, Protea Hotels and Fedics Food Services (Tsebo Outsourcing) between
1989 and 1995 in various positions.
Gavin Returned to Gooderson in 1996 as General Manager of Tropicana Hotel
and over the past 16 years he has been utilised as a trouble-shooter
manager when necessary at the various properties within the group but still
based as General Manager of the Tropicana Hotel. In 2000 he was promoted
to Operations Manager whilst still running the Tropicana Hotel and was made
Operations Director when the Company listed on Altx in September 2006.
2. Colleen Maria De Klerk was appointed Chief Operating Officer-Timeshare. She
was previously the Timeshare Administration Director.
Colleen has gained extensive experience over the past 15 years in the
timeshare industry from timeshare development, sales and marketing and
finance.
The board of directors wishes them well in their new appointments.
