RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised that Ms Esther Johnson has resigned as
Financial Director of Miranda. Ms Johnson`s resignation is effective
immediately. The board of Miranda would like to thank Ms Johnson for her
contribution over the past six months, which has been a very difficult period
for the Company. The board wishes Ms Johnson well in her future endeavours.
The board of Miranda is pleased to announce the appointment of Mari-Alet van
der Merwe as Financial Director with immediate effect. Ms van der Merwe is a
Chartered Accountant who has immense experience in business development;
strategy & implementation.
Ms van der Merwe ran a multi industry consulting operation with the following
key clients: Blue Financial Services Ltd (Financial Services Industry); AON
South Africa (Insurance Industry), Custum Cut Solutions (Office Automation),
and Namaqua Wollastonite (Mining Industry).
She has also previously worked for companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers,
Accenture, The South African Breweries, South African Revenue Service and
Nashua Finance.
The board welcomes Ms van der Merwe and looks forward to working with her as
the Company enters an exciting growth phase.
