TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDED 31 MARCH 2012
In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as
they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be
reported on will be more than 20% different than that of the previous
reporting period, even if the company does not have the reasonable certainty
in terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(iii)(1) or (2) to prove a specific number or
percentage or range. Once a company obtains this reasonable certainty, it
must provide the guidance referred to in paragraph 3.4(b)(iii)(1) or(2).
Shareholders are advised that the Company`s earnings per share as well as the
headline earnings per share for the twelve months ended 31 March 2012 are
expected to be at least 25% greater than those reported on for the previous
corresponding period. Accordingly, the Company will issue a further
announcement once it has achieved certainty referred to in paragraph
3.4(b)(iii)(1) or (2).
The financial results on which this trading statement is based have not been
reviewed or reported on by the Company`s auditors. The Company`s results will
be released early in June 2012.
