CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of Platfields ("the Board") hereby notifies its
shareholders that Dr Zuko Kubukeli, Adv Heinrich Janse van Rensburg and Ms
Debbie Ntombela have been appointed as independent non-executive directors
with effect from 12 April 2012.
DR ZUKO KUBUKELI
Dr Zuko Kubukeli holds a Ph.D in Human Biology. He currently serves as
Executive Director of Pan-African Capital Holdings Proprietary Limited and has
been appointed as a non-executive director of a number of listed and private
companies.
ADV HEINRICH JANSE VAN RENSBURG
Adv Heinrich Janse van Rensburg holds a LLM (Labour Law) and a PG Dip -
Commercial Law (Corporate Governance and Securities). Adv Janse van Rensburg
was admitted as a Member of the Cape Bar during 2008 and is primarily involved
in commercial litigation and drafting of legal opinions. Adv Janse van
Rensburg is a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa.
MS DEBBIE NTOMBELA
Ms Debbie Ntombela is a partner at Eversheds Attorneys in Johannesburg, where
she is head of the firm`s mining sector. Prior to joining Eversheds Ms
Ntombela was the Chief Director: Mineral Regulation and Administration at the
Department of Minerals and Energy South Africa, where she was involved in
drafting legislation in respect of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources
Development Act and the Amendment Bill.
