TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they
become reasonably certain that the financial results for the next period to be
reported on will be more than 20% different from those of the previous
corresponding period or from a profit forecast previously provided to the market
in relation to such period.
1. Earnings per share and the fully diluted earnings per share for the year
ended 31 December 2011 is expected to reflect an improvement of
approximately between 255% and 265% and between 225% and 235% respectively
compared to the prior year.
2. Headline earnings and diluted headline earnings per share for the year
ended 31 December 2011 is expected to decline by between 95% and 100%
compared to the year end results for 31 December 2010.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed by the company`s auditors.
In addition, shareholders are advised that the reviewed preliminary report for
the year ended 31 December 2011 is expected to be made available to shareholders
on or about 30 April 2012.
