UPDATE RE RELEASE OF PROVISIONAL RESULTS
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on 30 March 2012 that the
release of the company`s provisional results for the year ended 31 December 2011
was delayed. The state of affairs is currently as follows:
SRK Consulting ("SRK") has not yet signed off the Competent Persons Report
("CPR"), which includes inter alia an updated reserves and resources statement.
As mentioned previously, indications are that there may be substantial changes
compared to the position in SRK`s previous report released in 2008, specifically
with reference to the reserves and resources positions. Indications at this
stage are that these changes will result in a significant impairment charge,
the final nature and extent of which will only be determinable upon receipt of
the final CPR.
The final audited results will subsequently need to be reviewed by the Audit
Committee and adopted by the Board of SACMH.
All indications are that these matters will be completed during the next
fortnight, which will enable SACMH to release its provisional results for the
year ended 31 December 2011.
