TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be
reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for
the previous corresponding period.
Seardel accordingly advises that for the year ended 31 March 2012 the Company
expects its financial results to fall within the following ranges:

Shareholders are advised that the expected basic earnings per share and headline
earnings per share reflected above, include the once off effect of the
settlement with former directors, details of which were published on SENS on the
16 March 2012. As a result Seardel intends publishing adjusted basic earnings
and adjusted headline earnings per share numbers which exclude the once-off
effect of the settlement. Seardel accordingly advises that for the year ended 31
March 2012 the adjusted basic earnings per share and adjusted headline earnings
per share to fall within the following ranges:
